At Nikau Environmental Ltd, we can provide two types of Asbestos Surveys:
- Pre-purchase, non destructive visual inspections;
- Extensive, pre-demolition / alteration inspections with sampling
All aspects will be done in the strictest of confidence and can be conducted at any time available to the Client.
Any recommendations in the report are unbiased and are founded on Risk Management principals, based on the following;
- Friability of the material;
- Condition of the material;
- Location of the material;
- Activity Level (Potential to release asbestos fibres).
Nikau Environmental Ltd looks at all asbestos management controls available to the Client using the Elimination, Isolation and Minimisation control hierarchy. It is important for the Client to understand that removal may not be most suitable method for a given situation.
If Asbestos Containing Material has been identified, Nikau Environmental Ltd can assist the Client with;
- Developing effective strategies to manage any asbestos containing materials identified;
- Provide training on asbestos to the Client and its representatives to assist with this management;
- Develop safe and effective removal methods, if necessary, of identified asbestos containing materials; and
- Organise and manage the removal of such materials, if necessary;
- Conduct final clearance monitoring by trained and experienced professionals to ensure that asbestos materials have been removed completely and safely.
